Who we are
Japan Stock Dojo ("we") operates this site and app. For privacy questions, please use your in-app account settings.
What we collect
- Account data — your email and authentication details when you join the waitlist or create an account.
- Product data — your watchlist, preferences and settings.
- Billing data — handled by our payment processor; we store a customer/subscription reference, not your full card details.
- Usage & device data — basic analytics (pages, approximate region, device) collected only with your consent.
Why we use it (purposes)
To provide and secure the Service, deliver research content and emails you've asked for, process payments, understand and improve usage, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it to individualise the research (the content is the same for everyone).

Each processor handles data under its own terms and security controls. We share only what's needed for the purpose above.
Cookies & consent
We set essential cookies needed to run the site. Analytics and ad-measurement cookies (Google) load only after you accept via our consent banner; decline and they stay off. You can change your choice anytime by clearing site data.
Your rights (APPI / GDPR)
You can access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Use your account settings to export or delete your data. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are contract (to provide the Service), consent (analytics/marketing), and legitimate interests (security, product improvement); you may withdraw consent or object at any time.
Retention & transfers
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law (e.g. billing records). Some processors operate outside Japan; where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
